Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
This is a free personal website. I want you to know exactly what happens to your data when you visit. Short answer: almost nothing.
Who is responsible
Rodrigo ES Porto, an individual based in Vitória (ES), Brazil. Contact: direct message (DM) on X, @RodrigoesPorto.
What this site does NOT do
- No analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
- No forms, sign-ups, logins, comments or newsletter.
- No ads, social media pixels or cross-site tracking.
- No selling or sharing of data for marketing.
What happens when you visit
- Hosting and security (Cloudflare). The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. To show you the page and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data about your connection, such as IP address, browser, page requested, referring site and time. In security situations it may use a technical anti-bot cookie. Cloudflare may also receive automatic network error reports when a page fails to load.
- Visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics). A small script counts visits and measures page speed. According to Cloudflare, it uses no cookies or browser storage and does not identify you individually. I only see aggregated numbers, such as top pages, countries, browser types and load times. I never see your IP address.
- Theme preference. If you pick light, dark or system theme, that choice is saved only in your browser (local storage key
color-theme). It is not sent to me. You can delete it by clearing this site’s data in your browser. - Search. Site search runs inside your browser. What you type is not sent to anyone.
Why, and legal basis
To keep the site online and secure and to understand, in aggregate, what is useful, based on legitimate interests (Brazilian LGPD, Law 13,709/2018, art. 7, IX; where applicable, GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
Who receives data
Only Cloudflare, Inc., which acts as a processor on my behalf and, for security and network operations, follows its own Privacy Policy. Cloudflare has servers in many countries, including outside Brazil.
How long
I keep no access logs. Technical data is kept by Cloudflare for the periods set in its policies. The statistics I see are aggregated.
Links to other sites
This site links to X and to a few external pages mentioned here and in the Terms, such as Cloudflare and the Creative Commons license. Their own privacy policies apply once you click. If you message me on X, the conversation stays on X and I use it only to reply.
Your rights
You may ask for confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, blocking or deletion, information about sharing, and objection, among other rights under art. 18 of the LGPD (and, where applicable, the GDPR). Since I keep almost no data, the answer will usually be “I hold no data about you.” To exercise your rights, send a DM on X to @RodrigoesPorto. I reply within 15 days. You may also complain to Brazil’s data protection authority, ANPD: gov.br/anpd, or to your local data protection authority.
Data protection officer
As a small-scale individual controller, I have not appointed a DPO (ANPD Resolution CD/ANPD No. 2/2022, art. 11). The contact channel for data subjects is the X DM above.
Children
This is a general-audience site and does not knowingly collect children’s data.
Changes
If anything changes (for example, if I start a newsletter), I will update this page first and change the date above.
